Guided tours of the castle park will be led by Ing. Lenka Křesadlová, Ph.D., head of the Garden Culture Centre at the National Heritage Institute in Kroměříž. Tours take place at three times: 11:00, 13:00, and 15:00.

The event is part of the European project Rendez-vous aux jardins.

About the venue: Uherčice Castle Courtyard

The courtyard of Uherčice Castle is part of the extensive State Castle Uherčice complex in the Znojmo district, a national cultural monument administered by the National Heritage Institute. The arcaded courtyard with its prismatic tower was built in the last quarter of the 16th century during the transformation of a Gothic fortress into a Renaissance residence. The castle is nicknamed the "textbook of styles" for its layers of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. The courtyard is accessible without a guide and serves as a venue for cultural events.
