Fantasy Through the Eyes of Kristián Mensa

The exhibition "Fantasy Through the Eyes of Kristián Mensa" (also presented as "Fantasy Lives: The World Through the Eyes of Kristián Mensa") runs at LOVO Gallery in the LOVOš Cultural Centre in Lovosice from May 6 to June 5, 2026. The opening reception took place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, and attracted numerous modern art enthusiasts and supporters of the young Czech art scene. Kristián Mensa, also known by his artistic name Mr. Kriss, is not only a visual artist but also a successful dancer and performer. In his work, he takes ordinary objects and gives them new meaning through simple illustrations and playful ideas. The exhibition also includes a screening of the artist's short animated film, which Kristián Mensa created as his bachelor's thesis at the College of Creative Communication. During the opening reception, the artist also demonstrated his dancing skills. The works reveal unexpected connections and remind us that the things around us engage in a subtle and often overlooked dialogue. The exhibition invites visitors to return to play as a way of perceiving the world more sensitively.
