Entrée KoresponDance NMNM

On Thursday, 4 June, Nové Město na Moravě will host an afternoon and evening programme of Entrée KoresponDance — an event merging contemporary dance with public space, organised in collaboration with the Horácká Gallery, the Nové Město na Moravě Cultural Centre, and KoresponDance.

The programme begins at the Horácká Gallery with a ceremonial opening and a dance workshop for the public, led by dancer and performer Agáta Jarošová. From the gallery, participants will travel by dance relay to the cultural centre, where the evening programme culminates.

Audiences will see the dance performance Heroes, performed by fourteen fourth-year students of the Duncan Centre Conservatory — a work exploring attitudes and movement language inspired by real and comic-book heroes, accompanied by live music. The evening also features a solo performance, Sa présence (His Presence), by Agáta Jarošová, drawn from the photographic series Ravens by Japanese photographer Masahisa Fukase.
