Hamnet

When a young teacher William Shakespeare (Paul Mescal) meets the free-spirited Agnes (Jessie Buckley), a passionate love affair begins, resulting in three children. William spends most of his time in London, building his dramatic career, while Agnes tends to the household and children on the English countryside – two daughters and a son, Hamnet, who dreams of following in his father's footsteps.

When tragedy strikes the family, it shakes their seemingly solid relationship. In darkness and despair, Shakespeare writes his tragedy of Hamlet – a story that becomes a balm for grief for both him and Agnes.
