Isabell is a woman who never gives up. She has devoted her entire life to caring for her adult son Michel, a man with intellectual disability. Their world has its own order – sometimes chaotic, sometimes touchingly simple – and it raises questions: How long can a person bear responsibility for another? Where does self-sacrifice end and the right to one's own life begin?
