Czech Queen tribute band Queenie brings its 20-year anniversary tour to Olomouc on Wednesday, 26 August 2026 at Korunní pevnůstka. This is the seventh of eight Czech dates on the summer tour across Czech and Moravian cities. Korunní pevnůstka is a protected heritage site featuring Baroque fortifications built in 1745–1757 under the order of Maria Theresa. At each concert on the tour, Queenie performs the setlist from Queen's legendary performance at London's Wembley Stadium in July 1986. Tickets start at 799 CZK.

About the venue: Korunní Fortress

Korunní pevnůstka (Crown Fortress) is a protected heritage site and one of the few surviving parts of Olomouc's original bastion fortifications, built in 1745–1757 on the orders of Empress Maria Theresa. The complex includes a crown rampart with a bastion and two half-bastions, a Baroque powder magazine from 1756, and the remains of an Empire-style guardhouse. Since 2008 it has been managed by the Muzeum Olomoucké pevnosti association, which opened a museum, the interactive science centre Pevnost poznání, and an open-air amphitheatre seating nearly 900 people.

Michael Kluch is a Czech singer and the founder and frontman of the Queen tribute band QUEENIE. Born on 7 May 1986 in Prague, he established the band in 2006. He is known for his faithful portrayal of Freddie Mercury both on stage and in musicals — his performance in Karel Janák's musical Freddie earned him a Thália Award nomination. With QUEENIE he has performed over a thousand concerts across several continents.
