Thursday – Circus: Žižkostel in Motion 2026

The third edition of the Žižkostel in Motion festival runs from July 20–24 in the main hall of Žižkostel. In addition to workshops for adults, it offers daily afternoon classes for parents with children. The programme combines contemporary dance, voice work, contact and theatrical improvisation, new circus, and movement theatre — the festival brings prominent figures from the Czech independent scene to Žižkov, including Ridina Ahmedova, Věra Ondrašíková, and Alžběta Tichá.

Thursday programme (all-day pass includes all workshops):

- Radovan Jelen (Radek Pokorný): Matter in Motion, puppet in play – 15:00–16:00
- Jakub and Helena Urban: Partner and group acrobatics – 16:30–18:00
- Alžběta Tichá: Aerial choreography – 18:15–19:45
- Filip Zahradnický: Object manipulation and juggling – 20:00–21:30
