Gurumánie

Gurumánie is a theatrical performance exploring the phenomenon of new religious movements — their customs, rituals, beliefs, and strict hierarchies. The creators investigated what drives educated and successful people to abandon their former lives and join a sect, what leaders gain from these movements, and what their true motivations are.

The performance takes the form of a parody of a television game show with a cult theme. Audiences can expect, among other things, a cooking show called "The Whole Sect Bakes," in which three chefs from different corners of the ideological spectrum compete.
