MIGAČ, HERMANNOVÁ, PICHLER: Comrades with Hoops

A puppet theatre production about a spartakiad, infinity, and life in normalization-era Czechoslovakia. "Today the gates opened for the last time to fighters so that more than 90,000 athletes from all corners of our country could demonstrate their exercises. So that they too could manifest their desire for peace, friendship, and a happy life for all people on this planet. These are the most beautiful images of our home. Here our nations live, here our children are born, here we are at home, here our socialist society, guided by the Communist Party, wisely directs all our steps."
