
Theatrum mundi Kuks 2026
A puppet theatre inspired by Baroque sculptures, Theatrum mundi presents seven stations exploring life's moral choices through the lens of Braun's artistic vision.
The Jiří Nachlinger Puppet Gallery is housed in the historic Comoedien-Haus (No. 51) in Kuks. Its permanent exhibition "Braun's Sculpture as a Puppet" features 50 original marionettes by carver and set designer Jiří Nachlinger, inspired by the Baroque sculptures of Matyáš Bernard Braun. The gallery also offers an interactive audio-visual project, Theatrum mundi Kuks, using binaural sound technology, as well as puppet performances for children and adults.
