Iva Janžurová and Eva Holubová star in one of the most celebrated crazy comedies, first introduced to Czech audiences by Jan Werich.

The story of two elderly ladies whose hospitality conceals a terrifying secret. The comedy unfolds through a parade of absurd situations, often complicated by relationships with relatives.

About: Iva Janžurová

Born on 19 May 1941 in Žirovnice, Iva Janžurová is a Czech actress with a distinguished career spanning over six decades in theatre and film. She trained at Prague's DAMU and worked extensively at the Vinohrady Theatre before joining the National Theatre's acting ensemble in 1988, earning induction into its Hall of Fame in 2018. Her accolades include two Czech Lion awards for Co chytneš v žitě and Výlet, as well as the Alfréd Radok Award and Thalia Prize for her portrayal of Winnie in Beckett's Happy Days.
