A guided tour of Hradec Králové focused on the architecture of Josef Gočár and his vision of the modern city. Meeting at 10:00 in the Museum Café, the tour runs until 14:00.
The route includes Eliščino embankment, the Sokol building, the Municipal Baths and the footbridge across the Labe River, Novákov garages and the riverbank, the pedestrian zone and Masaryk Square, Ulrich Square with views of the "Hradec skyscrapers", the Church of Father Ambrož, and the school complex on Tyla embankment. The programme includes climbing to the roof of the J. K. Tyla Gymnasium, from which you can see the city panorama and the Art Nouveau Hučák power station.
A unique stop is the Steinský Sehnoutka Palace, managed by the Czech Police and otherwise inaccessible to the public. The ticket price includes all entries: the Museum, the J. K. Tyla Gymnasium, and the Church of Father Ambrož. The programme may be adjusted according to the group's wishes or unforeseen circumstances.
