About the venue

Kavárna Muzeum sits inside the Museum of East Bohemia on Eliščino nábřeží - an Art Nouveau building designed by Jan Kotěra and completed in 1912. The interior recalls the interwar First Republic era; the menu features house-made pastries, regional specialities and selected wines. No museum admission is needed to visit the café. Period press from the museum archive adds to the overall character of the place.
