Virginia Delgado (ESP): Concierto Flamenco

A musical and dance project by Spanish dancer Virginia Delgado, Concierto Flamenco takes you on a journey through Andalusia and its regional flamenco styles. On stage, she is accompanied by three musicians: Morenito de Triana, Matěj Konečný, and Václav Greif. The performance also features castanets.

Virginia Delgado Olmedo began with classical ballet and at seventeen turned to flamenco, while simultaneously studying classical Spanish dance, bolero, and contemporary dance under teachers Ela Camino and Anna de la Orden. At eighteen, she became a member of the flamenco ensemble Triana and succeeded in a choreography competition at Madrid's Albéniz Theatre. In 2005, she won second place in the Roseta Mauri competition in Barcelona in the Clásico Español category.
