Seven Gongs in Bělohradská Sýpka – Noe - Kohl

In the main hall of Bělohradská Sýpka, the duo Miroslav Noe and Petr Kohl will perform a musical evening for seven gongs. Playing the gongs offers dynamic contrasts – from pure, delicate tones to dense, vibrating sound surfaces full of overtones and interference pulses.

The duo has been performing together since 2021. They have performed at the ForFest and Zvuky prostoru festivals and earlier this year played at Prague's O2 Universum at the celebration of Michal Pavlíček's 70th birthday. Miroslav Noe is a musical composer, experimenter and conceptualist with international experience who worked for many years with Agon Orchestra. Petr Kohl is a musician continuing a strong family musical tradition, connected to the nature of Adršpašské skály.

To make their music sound exactly as they feel it, they manufacture their own mallets and gongs under the NOE–KOHL brand – instruments they describe as world-unique.
