Miroslav Noe (born Miroslav Šimáček, Prague 1956) is a Czech composer, experimenter and conceptualist who also plays guitar and gongs. From the mid-1980s he worked with Agon Orchestra as both composer and performer, with his pieces heard at festivals across Europe and North America. Today he performs in the duo NOE-KOHL with Petr Kohl, building live compositions on stage according to his Album principle, a compositional method he has developed since 1974.
