Zdeněk Mézl – Legacy of the Old Masters

The exhibition presents the work of Zdeněk Mézl (1934–2016), known primarily for his illustrations in books for children and adults. The artist drew inspiration from the past – antiquity, the Middle Ages, Mannerism, and Baroque. The exhibition includes illustrations, prints created using woodcut technique, and paintings and sculptures from his later creative period. It is held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the artist's death.
