About the venue: KodlContemporary

KodlContemporary is a contemporary art gallery that opened in 2025 on Prague's Pařížská Street. It occupies a purpose-built glass-cube space designed by architect Marek Tichý of TaK Architects and focuses on art from Central and Eastern Europe. Founded by Jakub Kodl, it builds on over 130 years of the Kodl family's collecting and gallery tradition. The programme spans emerging and established artists, with an emphasis on conceptual rigour and critical engagement with the local and broader historical context.
