Petr Tomeček / Pan's Flute in Full Splendour

A concert by Petr Tomeček at the Library of the Císařské Lázně (Imperial Spa) features a programme dedicated to Pan's flute. The audience will hear melodies from the films "Love Story", "Once Upon a Time in the West", and "The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe". Between pieces, Petr Tomeček speaks about the instrument and his musical journey.

Tomeček studied trumpet at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava and performed with the Prague Castle Guard Orchestra, the National Theatre of Moravian-Silesian Region, and the Silesian Theatre in Opava. He studied Pan's flute under the guidance of Liselotte Rokyta and Ulrich Herkenhoffer; he has personally collaborated with Maestro Gheorghe Zamfir.
