Schools – What Angels Whisper

An educational programme exploring the depiction of angels in European painting and sculpture across different artistic periods. Participants search for angelic figures in the works of old masters, observe the characteristic features of their gestures and expressions, and learn to read their silent language. The programme can be expanded to include Christmas themes.

Following the collection tour, a creative workshop takes place where each participant creates their own angelic figure. The programme relates to works by Antonio Vivarini da Murano, Albrecht Dürer, Peter Brandl, and Matthias Bernard Braun.
