I Am Only a Ghost, Someone's Emotional Memory of Life

A dance-performance work about the need for mutual understanding between daughter and mother, about accepting oneself within the context of societal norms. An intimate confession of a daughter, deconstruction of female and male roles, and a path towards unconditional love. The story unfolds in Slovakia in the 1990s, where a boy without a mother writes down his dreams of love. A duet for mom based on the diary entries of Lili Dubský. Duration: 55 minutes.

The premiere took place on 29 April 2025 at the Stoka theatre. The project was supported by the Fund for the Support of the Arts, the Bratislava City Foundation as part of the "I Wait My Whole Life" project, the Bratislava Self-Governing Region, and the Old Town Bratislava.
