Dvořák Festival: Mozartissimo

The chamber concert Mozartissimo takes place as part of the 70th anniversary Dvořák Festival (1 May – 8 September 2026) in the picture gallery of Sychrov Castle. Sychrov is one of the places connected with Antonín Dvořák: the composer visited the castle and the surrounding village seven times, coming here to see his friend Alois Göbel, and the local atmosphere inspired him, among other things, to compose the Violin Concerto in E minor, op. 53.

The programme is devoted exclusively to works by W. A. Mozart and L. van Beethoven: overtures and arias from the operas The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, The Abduction from the Seraglio and The Magic Flute will be performed, supplemented by Beethoven's Variations for oboe, clarinet and bassoon. The performers are Marie Fajtová (soprano), Jiří Hájek (baritone), Miloš Bydžovský (clarinet), Jan Hoďánek (oboe) and Štěpán Rímský (bassoon).
