The evening programme features two compositions: Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 35 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and the symphonic suite Scheherazade, Op. 35 by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, inspired by the collection of Arabian tales One Thousand and One Nights.
