from 150 Kč · ≈ 6 €

Miroslav Kejmar (trumpet) and Vladimír Roubal (organ) present an evening of Baroque and Romantic music in the pilgrimage church in Bozkov as part of the jubilee 70th edition of the Dvořák Festival (May 1 – September 8, 2026). Vladimír Roubal performs as a soloist with the Czech Philharmonic, the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK, the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, Virtuosi di Praga, and the Prague Chamber Orchestra; he has collaborated with Josef Suk, Ivan Kusnjer, and Sergei Kopchak, among others. Miroslav Kejmar is a legend of the Czech trumpet scene.

The programme includes works by G. F. Händel (Gloria in excelsis Deo, Voluntary, Largo from the opera Xerxes), J. S. Bach (Sinfonia from Cantata "Wir danken dir Gott", Trio in D minor, chorale arrangement, Trio Sonata in G major), A. Corelli (Concerto in F major), T. Albinoni (Adagio in G minor), F. Schubert (Ave Maria), A. Dvořák (song "Když mne stará matka"), A. Vivaldi (Concerto in B major), and an improvisation by Vladimír Roubal.

The Baroque pilgrimage church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, Queen of the Mountains was built in 1690–1693 at the initiative of Countess Marie Polyxena Desfours. The choir loft houses historic organs from 1852, built by organ builder Josef Prediger from Albrechtic – a mechanical tracker instrument with two manuals and 21 stops.
