Country Fest Under the Tower

Paprsek radostného žití, z.s. presents the fourth edition of a country, folk and tramp music festival on the castle courtyard in Moravské Budějovice.

The main stage will feature: COP – a legendary Plzeň bluegrass group founded in 1978 by Míša Leicht, performing authentic American bluegrass music and original compositions with several awards to their name; Samson a jeho parta – the band of Jaroslav Samson Lenka formed in 1993, whose repertoire includes hits such as "Laciný víno", "Už to nenapravím", "Katce" and "Pohoda"; Květinka – a country band from Znojmo founded in 1976 that has performed in the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy and Slovakia, and will celebrate their fiftieth anniversary at the festival; Jaksepatří – a South Moravian band with Czech bluegrass compositions and unconventionally arranged traditional songs, well known in the Moravské Budějovice region. The programme will be complemented by Tuláci and Duha, who will close the evening with a country ball. On the second stage, the South Moravian band Vedlejší kolej will make their debut this year with a tramp and country repertoire.

Throughout the festival there will be a prize draw. Refreshments are provided.

Ticket prices on the day: 490 CZK (standard ticket) / 300 CZK (pensioners, ZTP, ZTP/P) / children under 140 cm free. Pre-sale via smsticket.cz and at the Moravské Budějovice tourist information centre.
