Travel Lecture: Walking the Balearic Islands

Traveller Tereza Kubíčková shares stories from her walking journey across the Balearic Islands. Mallorca attracts hikers with the legendary long-distance trail GR 221, Menorca offers rural tranquility, white villages, and diverse landscapes designated as a UNESCO biosphere reserve. Ibiza has a quieter side beyond its nightlife – peaceful inland villages, terraced fields, and pine forests. Formentera is almost entirely walkable along the coast without leaving the sand.
