Tereza Rychlá Krippnerová & The Masters

Tereza Rychlá Krippnerová & The Masters is a Czech jazz quartet led by singer and actress Tereza Rychlá (formerly Krippnerová). The group performs swing, Latin jazz, and original compositions; in 2019 they released their debut album and regularly perform in Prague's jazz clubs, including the Reduta.

Tereza Rychlá (born Krippnerová, 1989, Prague) graduated from the Prague Conservatory in pop and jazz, and then from DAMU with a focus on dramatic acting. She performs at Prague City Theatres, Theatre in Dlouhá, Theatre Hybernia, and others. Television audiences may know her from the series ZOO, Murders in a Circle, and Polda, from the film Look for a Woman (2022), or from the programme Everything I Love (ČT). Together with her husband, actor Ondřej Rychlý, and Jan P. Muchow, she is preparing an original album.

Pianist Jára Bárta studied piano and composition at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory (KJJ) in Prague, where he has been teaching for 12 years, and earned his bachelor's degree at the Institute of Musicology at Masaryk University in Brno. He collaborates with, among others, Tarapaca, Madfinger, Lenka Filipová, Top Dream Company, Chantal Poullain, Maranatha Gospel Choir, Gospel Ltd., Zatrestbandem, Karel Vlach Orchestra, and Felix Slováček's Big Band.

Drummer Branko Križek studied under Professor Miloš Veselý and at KJJ; he has collaborated with Emil Viklický, Jana Koubková, Jan Smigmator, Filip Gondolán, Matěj Benka, and others, with most of whom he has also recorded CDs. He plays MAPEX drums, ANATOLIAN cymbals, and PELLWOOD sticks. Double bassist Jan Greifoner graduated from KJJ in the class of Petr Kořinek and was a member of the band No Borders (later Matej Benko Trio), with which he recorded a successful CD. His father, bassist Pavel Greifoner, has long been a member of Jiří Suchý's backing band and the Semafor theatre.
