CAMP Tour: Prager's Cubes

Wed, 27 May 2026 · 17:30 — 19:00

CAMP - Centrum architektury a městského plánování, Prague

A guided tour focusing on the changing perspectives on post-war architecture and how to preserve its qualities for the 21st century. The tour will present the future of the former Association of Project Ateliers complex in Emauzy, completed in 1975 according to the design of architects Karel Prager and Jiří Kadeřábek, and will explore its history and structural solutions.

Between 2027 and 2030, three pavilions will undergo careful renovation according to a project by studio IXA; their immediate surroundings and landscaping will be redesigned based on a proposal by landscape architects Land05. The tour also focuses on the bold steel structure and modular elements from the GAMA system, whose contrast with the heavy bases significantly shapes the character of the entire complex.

Meeting point is at the entrance to CAMP under the neon sign. The walk lasts approximately 1 hour and takes place mostly outdoors. By participating in the event, you agree to the publication of photographs and video recordings.
