A unique three-day event full of glassmaking craftsmanship, workshops, guided tours, street food, and evening concerts by Michal Pavlíček and the band Eddie Stoilow. The experiential programme is suitable for all age groups.

About the venue: Sklárna Rückl

Rückl Glassworks in Nižbor is an active family glassworks with a tradition dating back to 1846. The Nižbor plant was built in 1903 by Antonín Rückl in the valley of the Berounka river. Visitors can take guided tours of the production of hand-blown and hand-cut crystal, try glass blowing or cutting themselves, and shop at the factory store. The glassworks is also the maker of the Czech Lion award statuette.

About: Michal Pavlíček

Michal Pavlíček is a Czech guitarist and composer, known as a member of the rock band Pražský výběr. His long-standing collaboration with singer Monika Načeva ties him to the Czech alternative and underground scene of the 1990s, including the cult album Nebe je rudý (1996).
