About the venue
Rückl Glassworks in Nižbor is an active family glassworks with a tradition dating back to 1846. The Nižbor plant was built in 1903 by Antonín Rückl in the valley of the Berounka river. Visitors can take guided tours of the production of hand-blown and hand-cut crystal, try glass blowing or cutting themselves, and shop at the factory store. The glassworks is also the maker of the Czech Lion award statuette.
