Benefit Concert: Ely Consort Sacred Choir + String Quartet

A benefit concert by the British chamber choir Ely Consort Sacred Choir with a string quartet at the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary at Konojedy Castle.

Ely Consort Sacred Choir was founded in 1987 under the name St Mary's Chamber Choir and has performed under its current name since 1994. The choir comprises approximately forty singers and specializes in the interpretation of sacred and secular choral music from the Renaissance to the present day.

The ensemble regularly performs in historic venues including Ely Cathedral and churches throughout Great Britain. Its repertoire includes both major works of world choral literature and music by lesser-known and contemporary composers.
