Znojmo Underground – Civil Defence Shelter Route

A guided tour through the history of Znojmo's underground from its origins to modern times. The presentation covers key information about World War II, the Cold War, and the construction of radiation shelters, including the eventual dissolution of the civil defence system.

The route spans nearly 700 metres and features exhibits: a chemical protection suit, gas mask, functional radiometer, field telephone, breathing apparatus, Spireta V resuscitation device, and chemical detection kits. The corridors display information panels with photographs of original documents, including maps of planned American intelligence operations in case of invasion.
