Seifert: All the Beauties of the World

A chamber theatre mosaic offering a playful insight into the life and work of poet Jaroslav Seifert on the 125th anniversary of his birth.

A boy, a man, a friend, a Nobel Prize laureate in literature, a courageous person, a gourmand, a husband, a non-swimmer, a poor dancer and cyclist, a lover of all beauty - Jaroslav Seifert takes audiences on a visit to his memories and thoughts. He appears not as a dusty classic, but as a poet with sharp eyes, bold brow, nimble tongue and warm heart.

The production combines drama, dance and music and is intended for both Seifert enthusiasts and audiences new to poetry. It also aims to bring this significant figure of Czech literature closer to students.
