Jewish Bubeneč: Near Bučkovy Sady
took place · 27 Oct 2026
Description was written before the event
Bučkovy Sady was once a favourite spot for walks among Prague's wealthy residents. Traces of that prosperity remain today, though the gardens have been reduced to a small park named after Willy Brandt. In its immediate surroundings, Jewish builders commissioned remarkable residences during the First Republic - many of them still surprise with their extraordinary, sometimes avant-garde architecture.
Regardless of style, the villas here share one thing: the fascinating stories of their inhabitants. This walk is dedicated to them.
Meeting point: Lázaro Cardenas Park at the corner of Maďarská and Charles de Gaulle streets
