from 499 Kč · ≈ 21 €

Soul Repair is an original programme by actress and writer Martina Preissová and singer and actress Dáša Zázvůrková. The programme combines author readings, duets, feuilletons, stand-up and solo chansons — all from their shared creative workshop.

Martina Preissová will read stories from her books "How I Was Never at the Lions" and "Do They Have Glasses in Heaven?". Dáša Zázvůrková will complement the programme with songs, including those created by both authors together.

Martina Preissová is a theatre, television and film actress, and since 2000 a permanent member of the drama ensemble of the National Theatre in Prague. She has been nominated twice for the Thalia Award (1999, 2004). She is known from the TV series Hospital at the Edge of the City, Anatomy of Life, Sunny and Friends, and from the films I Will Wake Up Yesterday, Mothers and others.

Dáša Zázvůrková studied non-verbal and comedy theatre at HAMU under Boris Hybner and Italian studies at the Faculty of Philosophy of Charles University. From 2003 to 2014 she was an external member of the SEMAFOR theatre. She played the role of Vanilla in the jazz opera Well-Paid Walk at the National Theatre (2007) and is known from the productions Can We and a Man and the project Tribute to Hana Hegerová.
