Fantastic Ostrava 2026

Fantastic Ostrava is a two-day festival dedicated to pop culture — sci-fi, fantasy, horror, comics, and cosplay. Held annually in the industrial space of Trojhalí Karolina, it was founded in 2017 by Karl Krajči and Roman Bílka, creators of the webzine Vlčí bouda. The festival is open to the general public, including families with children.

The 2026 edition features confirmed international guests: William King, author of the Gotrek and Felix book series, and actor Harry McEntire, known from the series Andor and The Last Kingdom.

The programme includes cosplay competitions, artist alley, meetings with international and Czech authors, a horror block, knight tournaments, gaming zone, vendor stalls, and fan programming. There is also a dedicated programme for the youngest visitors.

The VIP package includes a bag with original print, an exclusive limited-edition collector's gamebook with author cover art (available only at the festival), a pin with the logo, a commemorative VIP card, priority access to autograph sessions, a set of photos of international guests, and small gifts from partners.
