Mockery Playground: Experiments in Collective Chaos with Daniel Orrantia

Tuesday 10 November and Wednesday 11 November, both days 17:30-20:30, Studio Savec.

A two-day dynamic workshop exploring bouffon and other forms of theatrical play, where the ensemble moves and creates as a single organism. Through physical, improvisational, and ensemble exercises, participants attune themselves to shared impulses and rhythms, allowing ideas to develop into grotesque and unexpected theatrical forms.

This is not about controlling the stage, but about surrendering to play, absurdity, and discovering how group energy can shape and reshape theatrical material in real time.

Daniel Orrantia works in the international theatre scene with a focus on improvisation, physical theatre, and devised performance. He is a co-creator of Speechless and author of The Fortune Teller, and founder of the BUENA ONDA festival, where he experiments and creates new theatrical works with other artists.
