2 x B - Milan Bátor & Bárka Music

The cultural space KUPE in Opava hosts the second performance of the instrumental project Bárka on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 PM, again with a special guest.

Harpist Ivana Pokorná and cellist Pavel Barnáš, musicians from leading symphony orchestras, venture beyond classical music in this project. Their arrangements feature Irish traditional songs, film melodies, and classic rock and pop compositions - the sound of Celtic harp and cello gives works by Bedřich Smetana, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, and film themes by Nino Rota and Karel Svoboda a new, intimate dimension.

Guest musician for the evening is guitarist and music critic Milan Bátor, author of two solo albums, who has collaborated with Jaromír Nohavica, Pavel Hošek, and Štěpán Rak among others. He will add guitar and his own arranging contributions to the shared sound.
