A tribute concert to Marsyas takes place on Wednesday, 21 October 2026 at Měšťanská beseda in Plzeň. This is the group's only Czech date this year. The Art Nouveau building with neoclassical decoration, erected in 1901 on Kopeckého sady, offers an intimate setting for a concert dedicated to the legendary band's repertoire. The programme features their best-known compositions including Břímě, S Luisem, Zmrzlinář, Marsyas a Apollón and others. The performance brings together surviving band members and guests Ondřej Fencl, Barbora Červinková and other musicians to celebrate the group's rich musical legacy.

About the venue: Měšťanská Beseda

Měšťanská beseda is a Neo-Renaissance building with Art Nouveau décor, erected by the Pilsen citizens' association in 1901 and ceremonially opened on 29 December of that year. Following an extensive renovation completed in 2005, it serves as one of the most important cultural centres in Pilsen. The venue houses several halls and salons, the Beseda Cinema, the Jonáš Theatre and an Art Nouveau café, with a total capacity of over 1,000 persons. Concerts, theatre performances, balls, film screenings, festivals, lectures and children's events take place here almost daily. The building is a listed cultural monument and received the Building of the Year 2005 award.

About: Ondřej Fencl

Ondřej Fencl (b. 1981, Prague) is a Czech guitarist, keyboardist, singer, composer, and lyricist (Lenka Dusilová, Olympic). Since 2007 he has led Luboš Pospíšil's band 5P, and he founded the Prague folk-rock group Hromosvod. He also collaborates with Marsyas (Oskar Petr), Vladimír Merta, and Schodiště, and has written for Lidové noviny and Právo.

Barbora Červinková is a Czech singer, actress, and voice actress from Karlovy Vary. She studied acting at the Prague Conservatory and jazz vocals at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. She performs as a soloist with the Karel Vlach Orchestra, acts at the Semafor Theatre, and leads the jazz band Jazz Elements. Since 2017 she has fronted the tribute project Pocta Zuzaně Navarové, performing songs by the bands Nerez and KOA.
