Pondělníci + Záviš

Pondělníci return to Plzeň with a fresh set featuring proven old hits, new compositions, and possibly a few unreleased tracks from their upcoming album. The band blends pop, metal, and brass music, with lyrics drawing on Czech stereotypes, internet oddities, and current politics.

They deliver a solid show – and yes, these are professional musicians.

The evening will be complemented by Záviš, real name Milan Smrčka – a singer, songwriter, and poet regarded as a legend of Czech pornofølk. He began presenting his autobiographical work to the public during the previous regime in a pub near the Vranov Dam. The programme will include, among others, Anděla and other pieces that have earned a reputation as standard fare at late-night drinking-song gatherings.
