Stories of Mala Strana Houses - Part I

A walking tour through Mala Strana around Maltese Square. Participants will learn about the history of selected houses and palaces, local legends, and notable figures who lived there.

The tour covers the history of the mint consortium, tunneling during the Thirty Years' War, and the studio of a renowned photographer. You will also hear about the nobility on Mala Strana's "sandpit", the woman after whom Certovka was named, the residence of Franz Kafka's platonic love, and Tomas Garrigue Masaryk's secret meeting place.

- Duration approximately 1.5 hours, followed by optional visit to a cafe or restaurant
- If space is available, tickets can be purchased on-site for 200 CZK.
