My Struggle. A Man in Love

A theatrical dramatization of the novel "My Struggle: A Man in Love" by Norwegian writer Karl Ove Knausgaard, who lives in Sweden.

The six-volume novel series "My Struggle" is regarded as an autobiographical confession, a literary event of the 21st century, and a documented reality show. Its subject is life itself — everyday activities and exceptional moments, feelings and thoughts that people often do not even acknowledge.

At the heart of the dramatization is the book subtitled "A Man in Love", which portrays in detail Knausgaard's relationship with his wife Linda: "We told each other everything, the way lovers do, and although there was something unbearable about all that happiness and we knew it could not last forever, the thought that it might end filled us with dread. Yet we lived as if we did not know it."
