Jéčko and Jaro Smejkal are helping again. This time, two children from Plzeň - Honzík and Pavlík.

Honzík suffers from the effects of sudden infant death syndrome, which he experienced 8 hours after birth. He has cerebral palsy and requires round-the-clock care. Pavlík has been diagnosed with childhood autism, ADHD, and moderate intellectual disability - his care is also continuous.

Proceeds from the concert will go toward therapies not covered by health insurance.

The evening is divided into three parts - music, dance, and singing. It is hosted by the Jéčko choir under the direction of Jaro Smejkal. Guest performers include singer Martina Pártlová, designer Zuzana Lešák Černá, soloists from the J. K. Tyl Theatre ballet Richard Ševčík and Jarmila Hruškociová, and others.

About the venue: Měšťanská Beseda

Měšťanská beseda is a Neo-Renaissance building with Art Nouveau décor, erected by the Pilsen citizens' association in 1901 and ceremonially opened on 29 December of that year. Following an extensive renovation completed in 2005, it serves as one of the most important cultural centres in Pilsen. The venue houses several halls and salons, the Beseda Cinema, the Jonáš Theatre and an Art Nouveau café, with a total capacity of over 1,000 persons. Concerts, theatre performances, balls, film screenings, festivals, lectures and children's events take place here almost daily. The building is a listed cultural monument and received the Building of the Year 2005 award.

About: Martina Pártlová

Born on 28 May 1979 in České Budějovice, Martina Pártlová is a Czech singer and musical theatre actress who gained prominence as a fourth-place finalist in the 2008 Czech X Factor competition. Working across folk, pop and musical theatre genres, she has served as a regular guest vocalist with the folk ensemble Čechomor since 2017. Her 2024 debut album "První a poslední?" achieved significant commercial success, resulting in three sold-out performances at Prague's Forum Karlín.
