Jan Zrzavý: Gateway to the Realm of Beauty

Jan Zrzavý died on October 12, 1977. This walking tour takes place on the 49th anniversary of his death and commemorates an artist whose work resonated with powerful tones of melancholy and often profound sadness. His life was not easy - he found little personal happiness given his homosexual orientation. Perhaps this contributed to his extraordinary creative output, which ranks among the most significant and original in Czech art.

We will stop at several places connected to this National Artist's life and walk through some of the most beautiful locations in Hradčany and Malá Strana.
