Slam Poetry at Dock (Open Air)
Dock, Ostrava
A slam poetry showcase featuring top performers from the Czech and Slovak scenes. Weather permitting, the event will take place outdoors on the terrace in front of Dock. All seating available; student tickets are offered.
Performers:
- Anatol Svahilec – Czech Republic Slam Poetry Champion (2014), Wikipedian, activist. Author of slam poetry collections Emu mele maso, Přece se to nevyhodí, Motorové sáně, and Nemel a mluv.
- Ljuk (SK) – Finalist of the 2024 Slovak Slam Poetry Championship, champion of the small-venue scene in central and eastern Slovakia.
- MC Hmota – Word juggler from the Žďár Mountains.
- Celest – Fresh slam poetry talent from Zlín.
- Adja – Representative of the Ostrava slam poetry community, 2025 championship finalist, winner of Cross)(slam and other events.
