Lochotínský Park

A guided tour of the revitalized Lochotínský Park with Irena Tolarová, head of the green infrastructure development department at the Plzeň Public Property Management Office.

The park has undergone gradual renovation over the past 15 years according to a design by Architectural Studio Hysek, with vegetation planning by the Plzeň Public Property Management Office. The work aims to preserve the park's historical character while responding to contemporary demands on public space use.

The tour will explain the principles guiding the final renovation phase - such as rainwater management - and specific interventions in vegetation, pathways, and gathering areas.
