Jazz Open Ostrava Birthday Party – The Next Movement

Jazz Open Ostrava is celebrating 20 years of existence this year, and the anniversary edition will kick off with a birthday concert at Fabric Club. On Thursday, June 12 at 7 PM, Swiss neo-soul/funk band The Next Movement will perform, having impressed Czech audiences with their energetic show back in 2023.

Band lineup: J.J. Flueck (drums and samples, vocals), Pascal "P" Kaeser (bass and synthesizers, backing vocals), Sam Siegenthaler (guitar, backing vocals). The Next Movement has performed at Leverkusener Jazztagen (Rockpalast WDR TV broadcast), Black Sea Jazz Festival in Georgia, Saulkrasti Jazz in Latvia, Jazztage Dresden, Enclave de Agua Festival in Spain, and Jazz Open Ostrava.

The birthday concert at Fabric Club is the first step of the anniversary season – the full programme will be announced in the coming weeks.
