All Roads Lead to the Luggage Room

An original production by the CED Theatre Class

Walking is an ordinary thing everyone does daily, yet it is far more than mere movement. It is medicine for body and soul, a way of connecting with the world around us, and at the same time a path to inner peace - and all it takes is to slam the door and set out.

This original production explores how difficult it is to leave something or someone behind and move forward, perhaps never to return.

To be a pilgrim in modern times and yet not be drawn to Santiago de Compostela. A runner? Whoever stops will turn to stone, whoever slows down will be pinned like an insect, a wooden point will pierce their heart.

The production is woven through with excerpts from the book Runners by Olga Tokarczuk.
