BARKA Theatre, Brno

theater party culture

DS ZEMĚTŘES presents the original grotesque Mládenec - a provocative story about the desire for closeness, fear of rejection and acceptance, and how difficult it is to be yourself.

The evening also features the stand-up comedy of Lucky and Laďka - two people who agree on one thing: that humor is the most important.

About the venue: BARKA Theatre

Divadlo BARKA is a barrier-free community theatre in the Královo Pole district of Brno, operated by the civic association Liga vozíčkářů (Wheelchair Users' League) since 1994. It is housed in a 1925 Constructivist building originally built as a Hussite church. The 150-seat hall with a 9×9 m stage serves around 40 ensembles per year, including amateur, integrated, student and professional groups. The theatre has no resident company of its own, acting instead as a venue provider and festival organiser.
