Fish in Four

A bitter comedy about three elderly sisters and their servant, whose patience is slowly running out.

Sisters Karolína, Klementýna, and Cecílie are moving to their summer apartment again. What could go wrong? Perhaps only that the nearest shops are five kilometers away, the cook hasn't arrived yet, the old servant Rudolf has developed an ugly cough, and the medicine cabinet is running out of rat poison. But the sisters don't mind — all the ladies are approaching eighty, with Karolína being a strict guardian of the family fortune, Klementýna slightly eccentric, and Cecílie the youngest innocent.

A grotesque comedy with irony, tenderness, and perspective that explores aging, loneliness, self-interest, and relationships built on dependency.
